Franke A600 FAQs

The A600 is the higher-capacity machine, built for workplaces and venues where the compact A300 would struggle to keep pace. It takes either two 1.2kg bean hoppers or a single 2kg hopper, has an adjustable spout for different cup sizes, and runs the same FoamMaster fresh-milk system in a heavier-duty build.
Yes, the A600 runs in both staffed and self-service modes, which is why it suits canteens and reception areas as well as behind-the-counter use. It also takes contactless payment, so it can operate as a pay-as-you-go station with nobody supervising it.
Does the Franke A600 make iced coffee?
Usually, yes. The A600 is designed to run on a fixed water connection. Vero Coffee supplies and fits water filtration for plumbed machines, which matters in hard-water counties: untreated water is the most common cause of machine breakdowns and service calls.
For the most part, yes. The built-in CleanMaster system handles daily cleaning, and Vero can adjust recipes and menus remotely over the machine’s IoT connection. Descaling, servicing and repairs sit with Vero’s engineers rather than office staff.
Vero Coffee’s Franke trained technical team targets a response to 95% of service calls within 8 working hours, and works to a 99% first-time-fix rate with over 2,000 manufacturer approved spare components carried. If a machine can’t be repaired on-site, Vero can provide a substitute machine while yours is in the workshop.
